Issue with headlights chrome peeling, headliner wrinkling, and reprogram (I think this is the 3rd item getting done)

I told my mother when she gets it back to trade it in on a gm. It's actually a nice car but I just don't care for a ford anymore.

Ford has us busting it trying to make heatshields and needed 20k parts made by last weekend, and at the 11th hour they pulled the whole thing away and went the software update route. We had 10 people that pull all of there resources for over a week into this fix for the escape and the Fursion. Oh well.

So let me get this straight, Ford discovered their vehicle had a safety concern, notified owners not to use, provided a rental car until the parts/software becomes available and you want to off the car for another new vehicle that could suffer from a similar failure too.

Ok sounds good carry on.

I just don't have faith in a ford. Since I bought a late 2003 super duty with the 6.0 I've been turned off from a ford. The Malibu Eco she's had as a rental so far has been a great car. My wife also has a malibu Eco it has just under 8k miles and so far no issues.

You can't honestly dislike every Ford vehicle because of one truck you had that everyone has had problems with.

They took a friends escape on Wednesday and told here it would be 6-8weeks before she got it back. She did get a rental but a its a base model so shes not real happy about it. I think they should supply her with something equal to or better than her vehicle. Hopefully she takes my advice and contacts ford about it.

03/03 6.0 or an 03/04 6.0? I can see how a car relates to a diesel pick-up so well.

My brother Bean's Yuck-on has cost them $1500 or more in repairs each year since 2008. Yet he swears its a great vehicle. Leaves him stranded at least once a year.....
