I have had both. Had a jeep. Went to buggy. Back to a Jeep. A buggy is great but if all your buddys dont have them they are kinda boring because you have nobody to wheel with. I like having the room and seats available also. Save the money and just keep wheeling the jeep. Buy a forclosure house and make some money or something instead. Buggy is a loss of cash!

I finally decided to post my mine for sale "for real" instead of just feeling the market. The driving force behind it is I just don't use it. Once I put 60's under it, it just sits in the garage. My wife and kids lost all interest because they weren't into the harder obstacles. We have decided to buy a JKU in the next couple years. I will probably get a Rubicon and put it on 35's max.

I know your situation is a little different as your not looking to downsize. I think if you are going back and forth I would just keep it. I finally came to terms it is time for it to go.

I've decided to keep the jeep, eventually put a 5.3 in it and wheeler it in most of the places the buggies go. Cost/time/stuff CVwindows pointed out were my deciding factors. I'm going to look for some 40ish" "street" tires so I can just drive 2 tracks to get out more often. I'm staying with hydro assist specifically for this reason as well. There were only 3 or 4 places Erin went that I didn't go down at the badlands and M.I. and I can live with that.

I might need to change my driving style a little to keep it in 1 piece for a duration of time though

Not really. It's more like if I wheeled a buggy against you, you would lose your 1% status.
