Not trying to keep the war going, but I think most of what you see are the crossed up crazy runs that make it a crowd pleaser. Nothing real exciting about the drag stuff (unless you are into it like I am) for the casual spectator. for me it has nothing to do with what someone can afford, i just want to make the point that in this particular sport, that is not a POS, and the driver has much skill. I am pretty sure he does the other events just to get crazy with it, and loves the excitement and exposure.

And just to clear the air, I do not "know" Ben. I have met him a couple of times and he was nice enough to me, and I dont think he deserves the disrespect that he is being shown here, that is the extent of it.
for the record, I really do think he did an awesome job with the engine in that thing, and the power it has would make it tough for anyone to drive

For the record. I agree with Hancho, then Mclean, then Whitewhino, then Hancho, then Mclean, then Hancho again and now I hate everyone, including that POS jeep in the videos.

It looks like Hancho quit. I guess he gave up and lost. It is sad.

I have been racing with Ben for years. He is very good driver. He races all over the country.
Its seems his wilder rides hit the net more than his great passes.

Schuss last year was nasty slippery snow. It was a pain to get a good run up the hill.

I can tell you Ben knows that his motor is starting to surpass the jeeps ability.
He is looking into making it 4WD again to get more weight on front, more suspension,
better cage for safety, and he has been trying out a Hans device, also.

He lost a good friend this year in St. Joseph at a fair ground race. A crash that he should of walked away from.
