I went from d rated 295-75-16 terra grapplers to E rated 305-70-17 and i noticed zero difference....i would also add that even though the new tires are E rated they still have a max pressure of 65 psi....same as the d rated tires.

my BFG's are D range...I bought them because I had to wait and extra two weeks for the E range, plus the E range only have 300lb towing differance per tire...for me, I don't need the extra 1200lbs towing rating...considering the D'd are rated for 3400lbs per tire
