Graduated

Just wanted to state that I graduated from Kettering university today. So long Flint, excited where my life may take me and new wheeling opportunities!

Taking a break from school for a while, probably pursue masters after a couple years.

BS mechanical engineer.

Just gotta finish academics this week and my thesis write-up, happy that my academic career is over with.

So.. Your moving out of state and will have a massive parts sell off?

Congrats.
Don't forget about those refresher courses. Hopefully you can have that company paid at the interview stage.

First part, maybe, and I wouldn't say massive. Truck is coming with wherever I go.

Most companies are doing at least partial payoff for college graduate education.

Kids won't happen for five to ten years hopefully, marriage is happening April 26, 2014.

She gets her clinical laboratory science degree by the end of 2013.

I don't really remember posting this... but it seems pretty well composed for drinking that much beer and Jager

Maybe. China doesn't pay very much.

all kidding aside, congrats!
and as others say, keep going for the masters now while you still have the momentum. (and are used to being poor)

Congratulations, class of 03 here. BSME as well. As hard as it is to find train drivers, make sure the company pays for all of your masters degree should you choose to get one.

I'm not one to not do something I plan on doing. Want to reward myself with a minimum of a year break to get real life on track before pursuing masters...

I will make sure when I accept an offer that they pay for at least partial schooling towards my masters degree.

Let me know if anybody is hiring engineers (not anywhere near Detroit. No offense, just don't want to live anywhere near there) Have/Had interviews with Oshkosh Defense, Detroit Diesel Reman, Remington Arms, and have another one on tuesday with a diesel place out of cleveland. mostly waiting to hear back form anybody.

Proof a College education doesn't make you smart. After 3 years off school, only a few classes shy, I went to re apply to finish my associates, only to find out I had already finished it 3 years earlier

I just graduated from Kettering too and I think your plan is a very good idea. Such a good idea in fact that is what I plan on doing. The only problem that I found is that there are a ton of jobs in southeast Michigan, but engineering seems to be less available as you go north or west in Michigan.
