Default West Michigan Wood

if any of you know anybody that heats with wood, I took down a 70 foot maple yesterday, and want to get rid of it.

Little bit of both. We tried to do semi manageable pieces. Once we got to the part where the 18'' bar wouldn't go through it without going around and around, we just did big chunks.

The Oak was dead about 3/4 of the way up. That one was 45 footish. We also took down a double maple (2 trees that were 1 at the base, split 4 feet up, and grew big, full separate trees) that was around 60ish feet also. Both maples were alive and well. They were in my way for my driveway/parking area.

Bring a trailer, friend, saw, or something to load the big stuff with. If previously arranged I may be able to get a skidsteer on site to load the heavy stuff.

A few guys at work are always looking for wood. For heating of course. I'll ask them tomorrow.

3/4 of the logs are gone. There are 3 big logs that his chain saw wouldn't even think of touching, and a shit load of branches/kindling.
