Good call. I knew there was some substantial reason why we love you.

The raffle drawing will start sometime after 8:30pm. It could be right at 8:30 or it could be later depending on how many beers I've had and if I check my watch.

Jim and I are planning on using taxi services for the night so we would be down to split a van.
I'm sure we could fill it with people staying at the hotel.

If you guys wanted to use Big Daddy Taxi, I actually reserved a van for that night. I am unsure of the specifics, because they needed a head count and depature and pick up times. It needs to be finalized 2 days before the event. I am not using the service, but set it aside for gl4x4. They were going to call me aprox 1 week before the event. If someone wants to take this task over, I will gladly arrange that. It sounded like it would only be a few bucks each if you could fill a van up with 15 people. Let me know, because I will cancel it if no one is taking over

Count me in on the taxi, since 87Mopar isn't going to show.

We have officially chosen the Greater Lansing Food Bank as the charity for the proceeds of the raffle. This organization helps an amazing number of people in the area. The great thing is their administrative overhead costs are less than 10%. That means 90% of our donation will actually go to serve the needs of the people they serve. This is an important fact you should always check before making donations to charitable organizations. 90% is extremely high.
The Greater Lansing Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to individuals and families in need in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties. Food is distributed through an extensive network of food pantries and community kitchens located throughout the greater Lansing area. The Food Bank annually serves tens of thousands of people, many of them seniors and children. Our recipients also include the “working poor,” those individuals who are employed but don’t earn enough to meet housing, health, transportation and food needs.

I talked to the taxi service today. It will be 3 to 4 dollars person each way. I set a tensive time of 7:00 for pick up from the hotel.
