**'84 Honda Nighthawk 650** runs great, selling cheap before winter time.
Hey guys, I'm selling my nighthawk 650. This is an awesome bike.
It's quick, cheap to insure, gets good mpg, and looks cool.
The bike is worth more than I'm asking, but I need some money for repairs and such and unfortunately this thing will have to go. I love this bike and will likely buy another one next summer when I get enough money.
I've gotten a few people wanting to do the repairs for me in exchange for the bike. I have a good mechanic that I trust and will be working with on the project though, so I don't need any othe rmechanics. Thanks though.
These bikes were way ahead of their time technologically.
here's a link to my ad with all the info about it:
A few highlights of the bike's features:
-Hydraulic valve lash adjusters
-Self-adjusting cam chain
-Digital gear indicator gauge
-Digital gas gauge
Thing's I've done to the bike:
-New Bridgestone Spitfire tires front and rear with <1k on them. very good rated tires according to online. I shopped and researched for a while before buying them.
-New Front Organic Brake Pads
-New Rear Brake Shoes and Springs
-New Choke Cable
-New Speedometer Cable
-Carbs cleaned with New float bowl gaskets and needles.
-Battery approximately a year old.
-Spitfire Windshield- will come with bike for a good offer... otherwise I'll keep it for my next bike.
that's just a summary of the ad. check it out @
I also have 2 cool youtube videos of ads for this bike back in the day. check it out.
Bike has under 22k on it. Very low for these models.
feel free to pm me with questions/offers or txt/call 248-828-5219.

Ok, here's the not so good.
The tank does have two small dents in it, both from me I'm sorry to say. It was being loaded in the storage trailer for the winter and fell part way over on a lawn mower, putting two small dents in the tank, but no leaks were caused.
Has a bit of a chip out of the headlight lens itself. Headlight works fine, rain doesn't get it, not sure how it got there.
This bike does have a rebuilt salvage title. It was tipped over twice at low speed by the p.o.'s girlfriend. The Hondaline crash bars protected the engine, and the bike is not marred from that other than some scrapes on the crash bars.
Both dents can be pulled out, the one could use some touch up paint as you see in the picture. The tank is not leaking, has no rust inside it, and is just fine. Just a couple bruises on the paint overall, which is NOT a stock color, but is to be expected for the year and price.

may also consider trade for a 80's-90's sleeper sporty car.
svt contour, 85 and up fiero 5 spd, supra, taurus 5 spd, probe gt, mr2 turbo, rx7, mx6. all preferably 5 speeds.
or a smaller fuel efficient cargeo prizm, metro, all preferably 5 speeds.
autos like the buick lesabre with the 3800 series engines considered.
also maybe possibly a 4wd pickup, preferred 5 spd. ranger, s10, tracker toyota, vw etc.
many more performance, 4x4, and mpg cars that I didn't mention. Let me know if you have anything worthwhile.
