Default Handgun shooting near Rose City

Looks like I won't be taking the Jeep wheeling this weekend so I might as well take some guns instead and have fun. Just wondering where I can legally shoot a bunch of handguns in the Rose City area. I'd probably take a rifle as well, can I just find a spot in the woods with a nice backstop to shoot at? Anybody know of such spots that are easily accessible?

That was my main reason for asking. I know what I've done in the past, but I wanted to ask since it's deer season.

You seem to really be struggling with this whole deer hunting thing.

Possibly sometime on Saturday, just me and the wife. We'll probably find something else to do since everything is a hassle so far

If I recall, there is one right off Fairview Rd. if you head north on it out of West Branch. Its on the northeast corner of one of the crossroads not far out of town.

Wife and I might be home Sat afternoon. Live 6mi west of Rose City. Pm me a cell # and we'll shoot pistols with you behind my home if we're around. I've got a spot setup with a sand pile, etc. Bring your jeep too, you can go through my tank trap (not much of a challenge for a modified jeep anymore, needs dug out again)
