I'll get a few pics up in the morning....gears are done, brake lines done, slowdown due to the wrong sye....(her tcase is a 242, sye was for a 231).....made some calls, swappin the case for a 231 tomorrow a.m. A few broken bolts and a lot of beer drank. Hoping to wrap it up tomorrow, if not Sunday for sure. Thanks to all that lended a hand!

Just a FYI the sye kit for a 231 will work in a 242 but it sounds like you have it figured out anyway

That info would have been welcome before tcase was removed......however I was told the 242 is a weak t-case compared to the 231....so it's all good anyway

Leafs installed, rear sway bar tossed in garbage, rear shocks done, sye kit installed and all the pita broken bolts removed. Some decent progress. The guys make sure Trish wrenches as much as possible. She is loving it! Pics up in a bit and front end gets tackled today.

lots of glare, will get a better one today, but shows the rear done


pita that took waaaaay too much time, bolt was so rusted in it took the sleeve right out with it
