Default red neck bonfire

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=7YKLU3_fVfg

I don't know if this is a , I have not seen this on GL yet.

I seen a smaller rendition of this when I was younger, with only a gallon of gas, I can not imagine 5 gallons.

To all of you who have young son's I think you should show this to them as an educational video.

MyFoxDetroit.com reports police say Savannah Blewett was building the bonfire in her backyard Saturday with the help of her 27-year-old brother, Chris. Chris Blewett doused the wood pile with gasoline and told his sister to light it. The resulting explosion killed both siblings.
Why is it whenever something tragic like this happens, the victims always have ironic names?

damn that dude got lucky. My brother did that one year a while ago with a leaf pile, normal city sized front yard and leaves were in the road when he lit the pile the explosion shook the windows. No idea how he didn't get hurt.

i have witnessed this first hand and easily could have lost a friend over it. I will never light a pile of anything with gas any more.

When we go camping i prefer to use tiki oil. We as well as others always have it for the torches. Burns for a while which is nice for wet kindling.

I use 2-5 gallons of used oil, preferably out of a carbed vehicle that ran a little rich, and a splash of gas to get a wet fire started.

I use a propane torch. Simple, safe and reliable.
