Default damn furnace

last year I had problems with my furnace and ended up fixing it myself with the help of good ol google. My hot surface ignitor was the problem. Well the damn thing is doing the same thing a year later. It seems these are "supposed" too last 3-5 years. Anyone having too replace em faster than that?

What's your furnace on/off cycle like? Mine burned up and I think it's because it would only be off for a few minutes before it came back on.

I gO through one a year usually. I'm extremely careful when installing them, never touch them or bump them.

I buy them from a local supply shop, luckily they're only $15 a piece.
