That's the reason I have a genright fuel cell. My stock one melted. I had a cheap flex pipe on it ghetto rigged to the stock exhaust, it fell off leading me to the new exhaust.

Oh yeah and it melted the fuel vapor lines that go to the evap canister thing in the passenger wheel well. Fml

New tiny update, just bought a 8.8, it's getting built with 4.88s and a spartan locker. Pics when it gets installed in a few weeks.

Just had the 8.8 put in today at letzroll offroad. They built it with 4.88s and a spartan locker. The axle was set up on another jeep and was built with a set of stock tj brackets a few years ago, it was a taken down to a bare housing when the original owner went to a new 8.8 to test a prototype truss. Anyway I added a ballistic fab cover at the last minute.

The only issues with the install lead back to it being built on a different jeep. The axle is off centered since the trackbar was in a different spot on the orig. 3 1/2" lifted jeep, so we will either redrilling the trackbar bracket or cut and sleeve the trackbar not sure yet. And the pinion angle is too high, so I'm getting some adjustable lower rear arms built out of 7075 with dual Johnny joints to push the able back a little to rotate the pinion down and also it will help with the rubbing I have in the rear wheel well.

Installed my body lift last night. Installed new fuel vapor emissions lines on the gas tank, now I should pass emissions. Installed my new chromos and axle tube seals in the front d30. Just ran a can of seafoam through the intake.

Either today or tomorrow start install on the rock sliders them get them powder coated and add a highlift mount to the cage

Just had the windshield tinted to 50% and 35% on the sliders. Need to put the windows back together pics tomorrow.

Also had the sliders installed. Dropped them off for powdercoat today hope to have them back on Friday. Pics of all the holes tomorrow, the metalcloaks are a simple install and didn't take long at all to install with a helper. I do like the sliders have no holes in the floor, only on the sides of the tub.

Jeep passed az emissions finally now I have current registration so no more worry about getting pulled over.

Drove home from Colorado to phoenix yesterday, about an hour south of Moab I start hearing this rattling noise. Open the hood to find this

The idler pulley gave up the ghost. I had to drive it like that for over 200 miles until I got to an autozone in flagstaff. There are no parts stores between flag and moab that are open on sunday. Surprising the tensioner kept the belt on and 15 bucks fixed it.

I have these chillin in the garage now, metalcloak 4" stretch rockers. I still need to work out details but basically triangulated 4 link rear, Johnny joints and 7075 solid aluminum links is the idea. Will be going for about 2" more lift at this point.

I'm also working on buying a turbo setup from a guy, working out the logistics of getting it shipped and delivered to me without getting screwed by someone is a pain.

Fixing up the old worn out front end.

New letzroll offroad hd 7075 steering and ball joints. Aluminum spacer instead of the boot. Nice and solid feel, it's like driving a brand new jeep.
