The numbers may be skewed by the conservatives voting on the way to work, but just wait for the liberals to decide to roll out of bed and vote.

Here's a pretty interesting map that shows the breakdown of what individual precincts voted for Obama and McCain in 2008, and if you zoom in and click on the dots you can see the actual vote counts for each of those precincts: http://atlas.esri.com/Atlas/VoterAtl...73&y=38.62&l=5
(my only complaint is that the map doesn't display streets to give you the boundaries of the precincts or tell you the precinct numbers)

Here's another site that has the breakdown of voting patterns by county and congressional districts for 2008 (and I believe all of the elections going back to 1789). The site is generally pretty good but seems to be veeeeeeeerrrryyyy slow today.

Yeah, most of the districts in the suburbs are much more evenly split that people imagine. It's the rural and urban districts that are usually the most lop-sided.

For those interested in Ohio specifically, you can see the live unofficial results on their Secretary of State's website: http://www2.sos.state.oh.us/pls/enrp...E:Statewide,PR
