Default I love election season!

Really nothing of import here in this thread other than I love election day and the process leading up to it.

Watching the returns on election night every couple of years (I get nearly as psyched in the non-presidential years as I do in the presidential ones) is one of my favorite things to do. I would rather watch election returns than the Superbowl, the World Series, and March Madness combined.

I even keep notes all season of certain congressional, senatorial, and gubernatorial races and specific ballot proposals from other states that I am particularly interested in.

Maybe it's the nerdy student of policy, planning, and economics in me, but election night is like how Christmas morning was for me as a child.

You're in for a disappointment this year then... read why it may take a month to sort out the results.

I actually enjoy that too. The 2008 election gave me 8 months after the fact to watch the Minnesota senatorial race eventually play out in the courts and the recounts.

Here's a pretty cool page on Slate.com that has two constantly updated Twitter feeds - One for left-leaning pundits and pollsters and one for those on the right.

What pundits are saying about Election Day on Twitter
