It's not really about grammer or punctuation. It's your distain for God.
No fuckstick, it's my disdain for you jamming god into every post....actually that isn't even it, it's my disdain for you making a big deal of god not being capatilized when the point of his post was perfectly clear.

It's not that hard to figure out.

Actually I do not put God in every post. Just like you, I noticed a punctuation error that I thought should be addressed. I brought it up without being disrespectful and rude unlike yourself.

Everytime God is mentioned in the bible His name is capitalized. Next time you crack one open, look for it.

Actually you do. Go do a search for god your name comes up.

I'll stop being rude and disrespectful when you stop jamming god down everyone's throat in every one of your posts.

So in theory congress could decide to change the date. I don't see it happening this year, but I could see that if a storm like Sandy was going to hit on the day of the election that they might postpone it.
The "Electors" is referring to the members of the Electoral College. Their votes must be cast on December 17th and the actual electors must be chosen by December 11th.

The individual states actually have quite a bit of leeway in how they schedule their elections and many have clauses in their constitutions that allow their governors or courts to reschedule or even cancel some elections.

I know there was quite a bit of damage in some areas but I cannot imagine that there will be any governor who wants to postpone their elections and have their citizens vote after everybody else in the country when the election is basically locked-up for Romney or Obama. I think it would be more likely that a state might move some of the voting locations, combine a few precincts, or change the absentee ballot process in their state allowing for more folks to cast one without having requested it as far in advance as normally needed.

Yes, and the "chusing" of electors is when we go and vote for our electors. And per the Constitution the time for that event to take place is chosen by Congress, and is to take place on the same day nationwide.

Vis-a-vis the Supreme Court, amen.

They have magically identified a right to abortion in the Constitution, among other things. The court needs to return their real job (evaluating Constitutional challenges to laws created by the legislative branch and approved by the executive branch) and not creating laws themselves.

A lot of the younger ones here may not realize that for the first 190 years or so, the Supreme Court did not make laws - that's a recent invention.

For the record, when all votes were counted in FL, Dubya won, by the numbers. And as much as it pains me to say this, it ended up being a good thing they stepped in, because it was going off the tracks, with things like "if the voter didn't vote for President, but voted for another , then they meant to vote for Algore" going on.
