Default Shackles

If I add shackles to my jeep will it mess with my pinion angle? I'm installing an sye and have my pinion angle perfect and want to add some more height to the rear but don't want to have to order more shims.
Any advice?

Yes it will change your pinion angle. I've got my angle setup all eye balled essentially and have a super short driveshaft, no issues yet even at 50 (the fastest I've had it going since rebuild). You're not going to get hardly any lift out of shackles though, and if you do it's because you decided to get ones that are WAY too big and then you're going to have problems.
