Zero times here too. Same number of total times we have lost power since we moved in nearly 4 years ago.

My in-laws on the other hand, lost power about 7:30 a.m. today and it's been on and off since then all day (more off than on though).

My neighbors lose power anytime the winds blow 15mph+. I have not lost power yet this year. West Bloomfield power grid > waterford power grid.

I thought I lost power but it turns out it rolled underneath the refrigerator.

I lost power a couple times. Then I remembered to turn the lights back on.

This is true. Waterfords power is goofy, We would lose power if the neighbor flushed the toilet but the neighbors across the street (side street, not a 2 lane road) NEVER lost power. Instead of using generators we would sometimes just run extension chords across the street for power!

We have power but Clarkston schools are closed due to widespread power loss.

Lost zero power, but I kinda wish we would so I could actually use my year old whole house back up generator. We haven't lost power since I bought the damn thing!

I was just typing something similar. Think of it this way, at least no one is asking you to borrow it.

I've invested in a generator. I live about 3 miles past BFE. When my power goes out, it stays out for days usually. I hate freezing, and I really hate not being able to flush my toilets.

That is my biggest issue with losing power. Since I moved to a new house last year I think I have lost power 6 times. Three times for extended periods of time. The last time was Saturday morning and there was no wind and it was sunny out by me.

I'd buy it from you since you're not using it, but I haven't needed one either for other than a few seconds (usually just long enough so that I have to reset all the clocks). Of course once you get rid of it you're going to need it.

I did not lose power. Two years ago when we got that big snow storm and lost power, I went up to Wally world and got a $70 power inverter that clips on to the battery of a vehicle and a heavy extension cord with 3 outputs on it. I pulled the jeep up to the porch, ran the extension cord in the window and plugged in the wood stove, lamp and radio. It works every time I need it.
