2500hd headlight problems
This seems to be happening on trucks from the 2003-2007 classics year range.
I have been reading alot about this and everyone who has the problem has the same symptoms.
Starts out as the passenger side low beam either dim or all the way out, then both low beams are intermittent and they either work or don't. Its very random and i cant reproduce it.
The Fog lamps and high beams still work 100 percent of the time.
Things i have done to try and reproduce or fix the problem so far and i have not been able to figure it out.
- changed fuses and relays
- changed head lamp switch
- sprayed water on the harness and all over under hood.
- shook the wiring harness looking for shorts
- removed Power distribution panel and inspected
- tilted steering column and tried to make lights not work
So far nothing has worked and i can neither reproduce the problem or get the lights to come back on when they are not working.

ours was the pigtail for the light socket. The one that splits to the high and low. Our has a plow harness so I'm not sure if this is your problems but those are the same symptoms as ours had.
I had to clean the terminals and use a dielectric grease on it.

A dim headlight is a ground issue. So make sure to check the grounds.
