4cyl, 5 speed, 124,000. I bought this project from a friend about 2 yrs ago. I have been working on it ever since. I had plans for this to be my dd, then over time turn into a replacement wheeler for my cj. The frame was bent, and rusted. I picked up a nice frame from another gl4x4 member. The frame was sandblasted, primed & painted. The inside of the frame has 2 coats of eastwood internal frame coating, and a top coat of valspar tractor enamal. The outside of the frame has two coats of valspar red oxide primer and 3 coats of semi-gloss black tractor enamal. The axles, wheels, rockers & corners all have the same semi-gloss valspar too. I cut any rust on the body and patched. I also cut out and replaced the tub body mounts that were rusted. There is no filler in the tub at all, I kept it solid, the diamond plate is there to cover the weld seams that were ground down, primed & panted. The floors have duraback bedliner. I installed all new upper and lower control arms, and most of the suspension hardware has been replaced. It has a new trans mount, steering box, wiper motor, windshield, water pump, serp belt. The shocks, crank sensor, plugs, wires cap/rotor are also newer. The oil pressure sensor is new, but guage works when it wants to. The soft top is in decent shape, all zippers work. The tires are low on tread, but still drive ok. The jeep is not a show vehicle it has some sratches, but it is good solid tj to build on. I have a ton of time into this. I feel this is a better jeep than most up for sale, alot of new parts, and a frame/body that will last a long time. I'm asking $4600 or best offer. I have a baby on the way and need the cash for expenses. I have pics of the frame, and body in progress for proof of these repairs. More pics available by request, and on cl link.
