on second thought, PM keith, maybe everyone would be willing to donate a dollar or two for a fully documented story and it could cut your shipping costs down!

Default Auto Transport

I used Bacon Auto Transport as a broker when I shipped a car to Arizona and also when I bought one on ebay and had it shipped from the West back to Michigan. Was pleased with the service I got.

Would it be inappropriate to ask you guys what you've paid to have vehicles shipped? PM me if need be.

I'm looking at vehicles right now and tired of everything being rusted out. I see vehicles out west all the time (I drive truck) priced great and rust free. Wondering if shipping would totally kill the deals? Guess I should contact some auto transport outfits but I'd like to hear some examples in the mean time.

I had a Cherokee shipped up from Texas to northern Indiana and it was around $600 bucks. Easy for me however since this is the rv capital of the world, I just used a local rv transporter. That isn't much help I realize.

Pm inbound.

Wow, $500-$700 range isn't bad at all. I'd pay that premium for no rust all day long. Kinda what I was hoping to hear. I'll have to look into this further. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay with the PM system. I was having computer issues.

Yes, it is best to call/text me for quickest responce, as I'm often away from a computer.

A couple things here:

1. Thank you for the referrals guys. However I am booked through the rest of the year.

2. Uship.com is a great asset. However it is full of scammers and non-licensed non-insured drivers. Only accept bids through uship and never go "outside" to make arrangements. Also, shippers that have an MC number linked to their account are legit, as they have to carry the proper licenses and insurance to get that number linked. A DOT number is not a license to do professional transport. Anybody with a computer and 20 minutes can get a DOT number.

For legal auto transport both a DOT AND MC number are required.

Feel free to call/text/pm post here any questions and good luck!

PM returned BTW.
