They may have started the Mustache run, but it started for many as King of the Mounds, which originated on the Misfit board. I'm not claiming ownership of anything, except a dead website, and a bunch of useless stickers.

The mustache run was invented by the founding memebers. Nick invented KOM (king of the mounds) which originally was going to take place at the mounds hence the name. At a Chapter meeting we began talking about doing an event and the topics quickly headed the direction of planning the 1st KOM At the same time the founding members wanted to do the mustache run again. We went back and fourth on doing the Mustache run or KOM. At that time Bryan offered his cabin for an event so we decided to do the Mustache run at R&V and from that moment forward the mustache run and KOM became one.

Cops don't read so good. I didn't say I invented either one, just that King of the Mounds was before the Mustache run. It's always Nicks idea. I just claimed ownership of a dead website, and a pile of stickers from said website.

Did it get through that time, or do I need to type slower?

I would say no, as it does have a solid connection to the hair on his head.
