Default Possibly bent inner C's

The front tires leanin in up top and I kinda think I have a bent Upper C on both sides. Maybe I'm wrong. Ball joints seem to be fine. If it helps, it is a Dana 30. Anybody have this problem? I know the inner C's are cast and I know heating and bending cast isn't recommended, but is there a way to maybe straighten it out? Straighten it and get a gusset kit? Any help would be appreciated. Please and thanks

Dana 30s are throw away axles. Junk it and bolt another in after you truss it

Believe me I know they are junk axles and probably a dime a dozen. I just need it to last me until spring until I can get a truck and park it. The plan is D60/14b. I just need to know if it's something I should really worry about or if it'll last me until about March.

havy you tried to pull the inner axles out, if they bind and you have a hell of a time getting them out, something is bent.

Proceed with it until replacement.

I'll give that a try this weekend. Thanks for the tip.

Scott I'll also keep that in mind about the empty housing. Thanks

If you have to drive it I would swap in another one and truss it.

How are the unit bearings? A little ball joint slop added with a little unit bearing slop can add up to a few degrees of camber. When I still ran a 30 I had a badly worn bearings and it was very noticeable in the tire lean.

I realize that. I need to check and make sure the axle tube isn't bent. How much would you want for that housing Scott?

I replaced the driver side bearing about 3 months ago when I put my crossover steering kit on. So fairly new on that one and I haven't touched the passenger side. But both tires lean.

I'll let you know if I decide to do that. I don't really have time to do an axle swap but if it's my last option I gotta do it. Thanks
