I took the ole commando down to the Lima Jamboree this year before i started wheelin it and won a trophy for best in Class. The guy really liked my Bullnose and took some pics. Well low and behold on Page 74 of Petersons 4 wheel and off road they put in a photo and a little paragraph. Not a big deal but pretty cool anyway.
Figured it was worth a little braggin.

Your rig Looks familiar, did you buy that from a member here? Pretty sure that me and chevotass built the bumpers, sliders and tire carrier. I love the way that truck turned out, expessially the way we mounted the winch behind the grill. Definetly a sweet rig!!
Congrats on getting a picture out of the hundreds of rigs at the show!!!

Yeah, it was Grumpys. Since i got it ive done front and rear dana 44's, dana 300 with 4to1. Full roll cage, New Interior it now has 37's and i recently did a 6.0L Lq9 swap with a new GM TH400. All in one year.

Been a busy year. Ill be finishing up the swap(just some small stuff) and hopefully have it at Snowfari This year. BTW, great job on all the Accessories, i like the way the winch sits behind the grille too.

Thanks, I always liked that rig. Sounds like you made some really nice upgrades, that thing will be awesome with the lq9.

I was reading that same issue today at the grocery store and I noticed that two of the readers rigs were from MI, one from alpena I think a 96 Ford and the other was a 96ish chevy short box from Fenton. Wonder if it was anyone from here?
