I want to swap out my YJ seats for something that holds a bit nicer. Thought it was easy and adapted a bracket to fit the current risers. Well, unless I can figure out how to steer with

it wont help. Plus I cant touch the damn floor now

. Not to mention the head height. So got online and looked and everyone makes their own, or uses a different seat out of a chevy.
I also saw someone used the set out of a Cherokee which bolted to the floor right. I wanted to know if anyone has done this, how the cherokee 2 doors give access to the back seat ect. I just want to hear all the option people have done and see it from there.

My original swap was for mustang seats. I used the stock risers and cut a section out of the middle and welded back together. Worked for a few years until swapped out again.

I have cavalier seats in my yj and love them. They bolt right onto stock risers.

Here's my cavy seats. I think 98 is the year they came from. Sunfire seats are the same. Must be from 2 door so they flip forward like jeep seats. Super comfy.

^agreed, cavalier seats work great, came that way in my YJ.

another vote for the cavy/sunfire seats. I've had a set in mine for a couple of years now, plus they're stupid cheap to get from the junkyard

this is the same seat I run as well but use a windstar slider as they are beefier than the stock yj and longer fitting the factory holes on the cavalier seat with little mod. below is the link to my cavalier seat/windstar slider write up
