Planning an LS2 Swap, 4l70E w/ AA np231 adapter. Ford 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears, on 35's
Front will be a stock d30 left alone until i pick up an axle worth swapping in.
Question: Is the 8.8 gonna hold up to 400hp and 35's? No mud, no rocks, just sand and trails. Rather easy on the skinny pedal, however i'd like to be able to use the power when i need it.
Also, anyone know what year chevys came with a 231c case that will bolt up to a newer style 4l60e? or even what years came with an np241c that will bolt up? 27 spline output 6 bolt pattern on the trans. any tcase ideas that i can just bolt up and run instead of swapping in a jeep case? i can deal with the jeep speedo later on, have some ideas on that one other than the factory speed sensor.
