Yes, and as a kid I was spanked, but it wasn't a daily thing, I knew if I broke the rules my ass would be tingling. Henceforth I obeyed my parents and only recall getting two or three spankings. My dad did haul off and kick me in the ass once or twice, but again I deserved it for not listening and pissing him off. My kids know that if they don't follow the rules or do as they are told they will get spankings. Low and behold, they don't do things they are not supposed to.

i dont have kids so my vote doesnt really count but my mom beat the shit ouy of us when we messed up and i thank her for it everyday bc it has made me the man i am today and if i ever have kid which i hope i dont i would not hesitate to spank them bc the generation of kids now are pieces of shit and dont have respect for anyone

I always take away things or ground them as part of the punishent. There are seldom reductions for good behavior. My goal is to teach my girls accountablity and make them productive members of society.

I believe in spanking, not beat the shit out of your child. I had a serious girlfriend who had a 2 year old. There have been countless times in the grocery store where the 2 year old would stand up in the cart and try to grab shit like they all do. She would be warned and then if she didn't listen, she'd get a quick swat on the ass. She had a diaper on so I know she didn't feel anything. It took a bit but she eventually learned to sit where she was placed. Other then that she was a pretty well behaved little girl, unlike her cunt mother.

My folks started with a hand, until it hurt their hands. Then woods spoons. Those broke. Then plastic spatulas, till those broke. The leather belts to the butt, then it quit hurting. 1 time I got the belt across the face, hard. Then I fought back. I was never hit again.

I always knew why I was getting what I got. Before any discipline was handed out, the reasoning was told to me, then I had to repeat it back. They always made sure I knew what and why it was happening.

I don't plan on going to the level that was taken to me. A hand to the butt? Sure.

Out of 3 boys my oldest would laugh when we spanked him, just didn't work. Had to resort to taking stuff away. The middle boy got spanked once when he was 12 never pushed his luck again. The youngest learned by example and was never spanked and he's 17 now.

We use time outs for typical incidents, but do reserve spanking for things that are dangerous to her or others.

Yes, I do when I feel they need it. My daughter turned 5 on Friday and my son is 15 months. He obviously doesn't get beat, but he gets a no and tap on the hand so he knows he is wrong.

99% if of the time though I have instilled the fear in them well enough they stop at the sound of my voice.
