Default brake light wont work

I have a 2000 tj and my brake light are not working looked at the fuse and thats good. what else could it be?

What have you done to the jeep lately?

Fuse= OK......(right ?)
Switch at the pedal ?
Wiring.........any trailer wire work done lately?
Not much left.
