Default 2002 Wrangler factory wiring?

Hello all. I was told by several car parts stores that Jeeps are pre wired for trailer wiring and that all I had to do was find the factory connection and plug the flat four prong trailer harness into it. Well I've searched hi and low on my Jeep and haven't found any "pre wired" trailer plug. It was supposed to be located under the passenger side mud flap according to the internet. Does anybody know for certain if Chrysler did indeed pre wire Jeeps for trailer? And if so, where the heck it is? Thanks in advance, -Bill-.

Mine did not. I have a 2001. I had to use a pigtail that tapped into the rear lights.

Thanks, I found out that the pigtail is what they were referring to. I'm glad to know that I don't have a "rare" trailer wireless Jeep

I looked online and found one for about the same. All this trouble to tow a little fishing boat and by the time it's ready, it'll be too late to fish!
