Not lifted here but I run my off slick before winter. Then put fresh skins on. I however unlike all of you don't make 100,000 plus a year so I chose to get my money out of my investments.

If I made 1,000,000 a year I would still be a tightass and get my moneys worth out of my stuff.

x2.....however i feel there is a difference between getting you money out of something and just being foolish. Driving around on bald or nearly bald tires that no longer work well just because you want to get a little more wear out of them is foolish imo.

I mean people who replace tires at 25% . I don't take them to the cords but mine sure aren't sold as used after I'm done. When my finger nail no longer catchesits time for new meat. I run 265/75/ r16s on a 3/4 ton dodge diesel.

I drive 40k miles a year over mountains and down roads you people wish you could wheel on. I would rather make it home than be sitting in the ditch wishing i wasn't such a cheapass.

If I make more a year on average than the median income for a dual income household I must have some brains in my noggin.

I always have nice tires for the winter. Spring summer and fall not always. I drive flat paved roads. The only danger I see is snow and mud when I cut wood.

I had a 35" mtr blow out on my truck when the other 3 were a under half tread. I threw on a set of stock size michelins with plans to go bigger. 20k miles later I decided a better ride less wear on the front end is cooler than looking like the cool kids. I don't make $4000 a week though, 99%er problems.

So it never rains, and you never have to go around curves, or turn corners, or stop quickly for unexpected dangers or any of the other things that happen in the real word? Never mind the fact that you are driving a heavy truck with an above average front weight bias that does wonders for rwd traction

I wish i lived in that world lol

Seems to work fine. I stopped in the pouring rain just a few weeks ago to avoid a deer which I thought for sure I would hit. Also seem to do great on the curves which are rated at 25 mph near my house, wet or dry. To each their own I guess. I haven't killed a bus full of nuns yet so I will keep on keeping on.
