http://nmi.craigslist.org/cto/3279780429.html never seen a suspension like this, kinda feel like it wouldnt work well... opinions?

Use the good xj body and large axles(?),build a proper leaf suspension under it, get a junkyard drivetrain, and run the pos. Give the kid $400 then dump another 1k into it for a few months of winter fun. Sell it in the summer for 2k and be happy.
