I wish! I'm still working on getting my barn setup. I got my 14b picked up from Bj this weekend. Tomorrow I am going to get my front 60 stripped and the hubs and knuckles dropped to have Bj machine for high steer and redrill from metric to 8 on 6.5. Next weekend I should have the buggy in the barn so I can get started.

What did you find on the profenders? I was considering thers 2.5 air shocks, but hadnt found really any info good or bad. Just speculation.

Of all the research I never saw much good. Not a lot of bad info but there was more bad than good. The prices that alumcj gave me on shocks were pretty descent for an actual high quality part. I don't like the fact of buying a basically unknown foreign product when it is only a couple hundred more to get a tested, proven shock. Plus I like supporting local businesses.

I'm sure they are fine, I'm not trying to dog them. I just think that is a place I don't want to cheap out on my buggy.

What should I do for a full hydro kit? Is there a more economical way than the psc kit that I won't regret buying?

Got all the brackets stripped off the front and the drums off the 14b. I would have got the 14 all stripped but I ran out of oxygen for the torch so that is going to have to wait til this weekend.

I stopped by rocksolid and gave him my knuckles and hubs and walked out with a nice set of hubs that were redrilled for 8 on 6.5 and machined for smaller brakes that will have a better feel than the stockers. I Also got some knuckles with new ball joints that were machined. The highsteer arms are a nice snug fit. They aren't sloppy like some of them I have seen. Bj does awesome work, it is nice having them 5 minutes from my house.

Looks good Chad. the new brake setup rocks. slightly lighter rotor with a smaller twin piston caliper for a great pedal feel and improved stopping power.

Its a little cheaper, but i have been looking at the trail gear setup. Dont know much about it. Heard and seen good things with them. But they are few and far between. Worth investigating though

After talking to the guys at rsp and doing a bunch more research I am going to just spend the cash on the psc. I don't think it is worth half assing it and being disappointed.

I finally got the barn cleaned out enough to be able to get the chassis in there. I still have a lot of organizing to do but it is one step closer. If all goes well I will be picking up a Lincoln idealarc 300 tonight so I won't have to bring my suitcase welder home from work everytime I want to work on anything.

Yup same here, after talkin with robert, cant go wrong with psc. Lots easier and cheaper to learn from other peoples mistakes/experiences.

I have been putting all my time into working on getting my workshop setup. I had to put the buggy in the back barn so I would stop thinking about working on it until my shop is done

I did order these 14b parts today though

http://www.tmrcustoms.com/store/inde...oducts_id=1286

http://www.tmrcustoms.com/store/inde...oducts_id=1057

I like building things myself but I am coming to realize that sometimes it is more economical to buy something rather than spend hours and hours building it and redoing it since I am never content.
