finished my sliders, now Im like greasyhands =)

My sliders held up pretty good this weekend. I think the .120 wall may have been a little thin for the support tubes.

I came down pretty hard on rock here.

The skid plate I made got a pretty good workout too.

Looks like I have a little bend in the pass. side control arm too.

I blew a shaft out on winch hill, but the "almost alloy" kept the u-joint and ears together.

Why not plate the slider supports like boatsiding?

Looks like those supports could hold you up pretty good.

I have had a couple people suggest that, but I dont think I had gotten hung up even once on them this weekend. If it becomes a problem I will look into fixing it.

I too have the same set up curb has. I was never in a situation at r&v the weekend that hung me up on the supports. I did notice a few times that they bumped over the rocks but never caught them. They definitely did their job. I used mine to pivot around a few rocks and trees on big ugly.

I have been able to squeeze into any trail I want. Its nice not to have to worry about body damage. Trail Rig FTW.
