Default someone capable of doing jeep wj dana 35 bearings

My 99 jeep wj has a rear end whine after 35 mph an just gets louder with speed. Pinion seal is leaking so im sure bearings are worn. Jeep is stock.. Anyone lookibg for some side work or wanna tackle it? I can drive jeep to u. Motors 4.0 so im assuming dana 35 is quadra. Drive.

That should be an aluminum housing D44......they are notorious for that and it usually the housing that takes a crap.......the whining is actually probably the gears

Ill check housing tomorrow if its d44 or not... if it is what do u recommend? I was hoping to spend around 500ish on whatever the fix maybe.

if it has a v8 its a 44a if it has a 4.0L it is still a d35

Thank u....i does look like smaller axle. It just whines regardless of acceleration or decelerating

post a pic and we can tell prety easily
or a d35 has an oval shaped diff cover and a 44a has a more angled one

a junk yard axle is 200 bucks find someone parting one out for cheaper and just replace the whole axle. its easy to through another axle in a much cheaper

Its a dana 35, an zach all the salvage yards around here want 450 plus core for axle.
