Not having emission checks or annual inspections is one of the great things about living in Michigan.

All trucks have the bed sag over time.

People drive what they can. I have driven A LOT of pos just to get me to A-B. Usually until I flew by a cop going 20+ over then I parked it for a few weeks.

That truck is not that bad at all. The owner may have gotten to the IDGAF stage. Or maybe they found a truck on CL for 1k they they could haul stuff around while remodeling there house then sell for parts.

Lots more you need to know before taking a picture of someones ride and bashing it publicly.

I have seen truck that looks like piles of fukc , but are mechanically perfect, all the best parts, good steering, brakes and suspension. I have also seen trucks that looks super nice and the steering and suspension is loose, and brakes don't work worth a fukc .

If you ball joints and tierods are loose and flopping around they are not in good shape and functioning as designed. Like wise if your rotors are grooved and rusty and the pads are worn out then they are not functioning as designed.

That's the stuff that needs to be weeded out imo

curious. how many miles are on the shocks in your old dodge or toyota?

checked the air pressure on either lately? how old is the brake fluid in either? power steering fluid?



the summer rated (very sticky) kumho's that are on my daily driver are technically beyond their serviceable life based on remaining tread-depth.

that being said, in the dry, they still operate a shiton better than all season's

there's a set of nearly new (I had them on for one month at the end of winter) continental extreme contact dws in the basement that are going on when cold weather gets a little closer, I guess in the mean time I'll be happy we don't have periodic inspections, and to slow down in the rain.

This is the crappiest looking vehicle I owned, and it's still better than that Chevy.



I junked it when the head gasket gave out.

Drove it to the junkyard in fact.

I would be afraid to put anything in the bed of that Chevy. And yes, the frame was bent- The frame rails are parallel to the bed. I couldn't get a better pic because the owner was a fairly large dude that I did not wish to piss off.

The video of the chevy truck taco'ing, the extricator is at fault, nobody rolls vehicles over end for end, it should have been pulled from the side. My guess is they deliberately bent the frame in half, for whatever reason unknown. Probably because the rest of the truck was totaled by the frozen water and ice body work that took place.
