Default 1979 Class C Chevy Motorhome $950 OBO

For Sale:

1979, 22 foot motor home made by Rockwood. It's sitting on a Chevy chassis with a Chevy 350, 3 speed turbo 350 tranny, and a 14 bolt rear dually. This motorhome is a fixer upper, perfect for the backyard mechanic or a great donor for your mud truck project. Could also be great for parting out or a possible tow vehicle. The motor runs good and transmission shifts smoothly with 80,000 miles on them. The stove, furnace, and fridge all worked when last used a couple years ago. Not sure if they still do or not. It's been sitting for awhile and we just pulled it out of storage yesterday. The battery is dead, but starts right up with jumper cables. Battery will need to be replaced. The brakes were soft, and reservoir was low but I added fluid and bled them and they are nice and solid now and seem fine. The roof leaks somewhere and signs of damage up front over the cab are obvious. Could be an easy fix, but not sure. For the most part, we just want this beauty gone. Could make a great deer camp for a couple of younger guys that like to drink! The possibilities are endless...

I am asking $950 or best offer.

Email me at sr522re@yahoo.com if interested...

Thanks!

Photo's have been updated. I have to apologize though as we got the date wrong. I've listed this for my brother and prior to him looking at the title he thought it was a late 80's. It's actually a 1979. Sorry about that...
