Well HUGE bummer i didnt make it to club challenge today. BUT on a good note i have got the jeep finally pieced back together good enough to drive, bleeding brakes right now.
It got all final welded today, shocks put in place, links tightened up adjusted, lengthened front drive shaft, made tie rod, set drag link up so tires wont rub my lower links, cleaned up all my under hood stuff from hoop locations. Now Tuesday itll get loaded up to take to the shop, to set my limits and bumps, easier to do with a forklift.
Oh yeah, shocks are filled with 380 cc 5w synthetic shock oil, and 450 psi nitrogen...seems pretty squishy, but its also a little higher in the front..maybe ill let em down a little..

Yeah..i am getting lazy and slow in my old age..hah...took it for a slow ride today, seems good. Going to keep pennies pinched for full hydro...steers ok, no worse than my leaf springs, actually a little better.
Yes i did crawl bu your house today kyle..

Here are a fea pics of my rti..

Had to raise the rti, from 60" to 72" 60" wasnt quite enough.

Felt awesome to drive it again. Rides smoother than my leafs, little roll around corners, but i had that with my leaves. Maybe not quite as bad. Doesn't nose dive that bad, but without a center limit strap it lifts quite a ways under hard acceleration..to be expected.
As far as the rti ramp, i had to lift it farther, and i could have kept going up the ramp all tires stayed on the ground.
Steering doesnt feel that bad..could be better. Still not as bad as it was with leafs.
Overall im really happy with it, cant wait to wheel it.
Need drive slugs..and 8 misalignment spacers. Those will be here mid week.

Well finally got my misalignment bushings today, threw them in. Got my dang optima charged..i think. Been on 2 amp trickle steady for almost a whole week. Also got my drive slugs today, took it for a spin.
Have a little finishing up. Need to fix exhaust leaks, tighten up steering. Has a little death wabble at about 40 mph. The tires are toed in about 1/4" in the front..should i go more..or less.
Nice having a dana 60 front...front wheel drive burn outs rock. :D

Also wouldn't mind finding a serpentine set up for a sbc..dang power steering pump wont stop slipping the belt..

Still waiting for my custom covers..that have "predator" cut into them..cant wait..

Can you adjust your caster? If thats what its called or pinion angle adjustment, adjust you upper links, I took some caster out of mine and it fixed the death wobble.

Well i adjusted my tow/toe of the steering. Adjusted it so tires are parallel to eachother. Fixed the death wabble. Steering was acting up, just needed to snug the belt up witn 36" of pry bar.
Definitely needs hydro. But as long as the belt stays snug itll do for now. Gotta try to work all the bugs out before i beat it up at turtle ridge the weekend of October 13,14. Getting more and more excited.
Batteries are still sh!t, cant start the jeep without a jump.

No new pics today.

Got my bump stops in and limit straps on. Taking it out and wheeling it tomorrow.
Used the hi lo at the shop to flex it out today. It flexes nice. Loving the four link.

Wheeling pics, and limit strap pics tomorrow
