Default The Left continue to push

For The Separation of Church and State. They remove the word "God" from thier platform. They used it in 2008, I think 4 times and now they change the wording and omit God from it. I wonder why.

Then we see this at the DNC

What scares me equally to Obama being reelected, is him loosing, and running to the UN, taking control there, and then trying his ideals there. If that happens, I pray we leave the UN.

We have no business in the UN. Just like they have no business in this country. Until a liberal administration invites them here to impose thier laws on American citizens.
Clinton signed us up and the first thing Bush did was unsign us. I believe Romney will do the same.

To some extent, being a member of the UN allows us to have a influence in world ecomonmics and gives a body guard mentality to work towards having peace between nations. What I have a problem with is when that entity starts thinking it can dictate the on goings of our nation. I get that there is a slippery slope of us telling others what to do, but nobody can tell us.

I think total retraction from world organizations would not be a good thing. The world is so small now, and technology is so huge, you have to be an international player to some extent.

Right, how dare politicians pander to the wishes of the people. It's so much better when they stick to their own personal ideologies.

I suppose that being a part of the UN could be a good thing to use our influence towards unfriendly nations. But I do not see why they would impose UN laws to supercide our constitution and laws of this country.
With us being a super power of the world and we do not use the might and power of our military to take over nations but only to act as a mediator, then why would we need the UN to tell us what to do?

I'm saying to we don't NEED the UN to tell us what to do. What worries me is that they will. If we just up and leave the UN, we are essentially the big kid on the play ground going home. That leaves us vulnerable. Why? Because we need to have good working relationships with those other kids, and to ensure that there isn't a ZUMBA class going on that we don't know about that the other kids taking it will beef up and kick our asses. Also, we need somebody to trade our shitty snack at lunch with. As I understand it, what the UN is trying to do, is make the rules for the kid at home.

Does that make sense?

Oh ya it does make sence in that way, but as in use being forced to play by their rules(gun control)which is code language for control the masses and to be forced abandon our constitution. Which works for us as long as we don't continue on this path of socialism.
