I was keeping the total times at the end of the lot crawl when we seen the smoke.. I took off down the course to see what was going on.. As I was walking someone came over the radio saying we needed a medic NOW.. I just happen to look up and there stood Mongo.. I knew he was a medic and sent him over.. So glad there was lots of fire fighters and a few medics around to help out until the ambulance arrived.. But most of all, I am very happy to hear that Grace is doing good and will be ok.. On behalf of all the Rocks and Valleys Rangers, thanks to everyone that helped and made sure everyone was safe and the fire was takin care of..

Very glad to hear she is doing well. Best wishes. And glad to hear the baby is doing okay, after being through an injury during my sons moms pregnancy that was the scarriest thing i had every experienced.

There was an accident with gas and we caught a Jeep and my wife, who was standing nearby on fire.

Thanks for all the well wishes. She is in a lot of pain, but seems to be managing it.

The incident sucks, but was handled very well and the outcome could've been a lot worse.

I was impressed with how things worked out, given the type of situation.
There was probably 10 seconds between us yelling "OH shit, FIRE!" and everyone in the camping area running at us with extinguishers. I probably took at least 3 fire extinguishers from people running to the area. One guy with a bad leg was more than happy to hand his off to me as I ran towards him (thank you).
The team effort to roll the jeep away (still slightly on fire) was also impressive, including one guy almost getting run over by it, twice!

The two guys in our group that found Grace and got her to the trailer are a perfect example of "right place, right time", attention to detail, and quick thinking. I saw her fall but didnt know/realize she was hurt.
Also very impressed with the people that took care of her after the fire was out.

The R&V team did a good job of making sure the area was clear and no one was in the way of the ambulance, they also lead the ambulance right to us with the bronco.
Very good communication.

Ron Did a good job, as always.
He was sure to get everyones stories immediately before anything could be forgotten/missed and checked on us a couple times throughout the day.

Just another example of how our community can come together in a time of need, without notice.

Glad to hear she is doing well. She has been in my family's prayers every day. That was some scary stuff. I usually have my 10 year old son with me when wheelin but usually don't bring him to events like this because as others said it really shows you how fast things can go bad. I can't even imagine what you guys went through. From what I saw and was involved with, the community as a whole really kept their heads and took care of the tasks at hand to get everything under control.

Here's wishing a speedy recovery.

Yesterday was a rough day for her. She has to lay with her feet propped up and get up everything three hours to move around. Everytime she gets up, its intense pain. She also had an allergic reaction to the pain killer she is taking and broke out. We got a different prescription and so far seems to be better. Hopefully today will be better.

We've been blessed at home with several of our friends bringing easy to warm up meals. Its hard for me to help her 24/7 because with her off I can't afford to take much time off from my two jobs.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

I do have pics of the burned feet, being new to this site I didn't want to post them and gross anyone out.
