Default Sports

I always get asked "What sports do you enjoy?". Someone once asked me the sports question, after explaining what type of sports I enjoy she said "Huh, I have never met anyone who isnt into sports." WTF? I just told you what "SPORTS" I enjoy. Here is what I think about Sports, there are two categories:

Games:
Baseball
Football
Basketball
Soccer
Hockey

Competitions:
Racing (all types)
Motorsports (all forms)
MMA
X Games Events
Boxing

Pretty much if your messing up results in you potentially getting hurt or killed then it interests me. If your messing up results in your ball getting moved 5 yards then it is a silly game.

Flame on you game loving nerds.

I'm kinda like mr. green, but I still don't care for danger sport all that much either.
I do like to....
drive to work in deep snow.
snowboard.
swim laps.
offroad trails.
mountain bike through the neighborhood.

I'm with you Green. Never been a traditional sports fan, but I am interested in how these jerkoffs can confince their wifes that the couch is where a man should be all weekend.

Hockey and college football. Just about all motorsports, except Nascar, most boring shit ever.

Similar to Green.

As far as pro games, I'll watch a Tigers or Red Wings game if [a] I have nothing else to do and [b] it really matters. They could eliminate pro football, basketball, soccer, etc... tomorrow as far as I'm concerned. I have never watched a super bowl game. Ever.

As I've gotten older I will watch the occasional college football or basketball game. Having attended Indiana and having my kid earn an athletic scholarship to MSU, that's who I'll watch on occasion.

Used to seriously into NASCAR, but cooled to it when they brought Toyota in and further moved the cars away from reality with "car of tomorrow". Just too many two-door V8 RWD Impalas, Fusions, and Camrys for me. Will watch Bristol night race.

Mr Green's wouldn't know a good sports game/contest/competition if it jumped up in his face and started to wiggle....While I could give two shits about NFL I do watch it, and enjoy the Lions. College football is the best with no favorite team, except I have really enjoyed watching LSU for the past couple of years. My only must see is the LSU vs Alabama football game every year

Im not being a dick or funny.... whats the draw? I just dont see how watching someone else do something drives any emotion, despite jump-off-the-couch-and-yell-at-the-tv emotion..

I used to watch baseball, hockey and golf on TV, but haven't in several years. Hockey is by far my favorite sport to watch in person, whether it's NHL, semi-pro or college. I don't mind going to a baseball game every now and then, though I haven't in quite a while.

the draw? It's because I can't do it and I want to do it. I like to see a good hit, pass or play. I like to watch a group working as a team, or failing because they can't. Same thing with motorsports...I like it because they do something I can't.
