It is made by the same company, but it is a separate component. They have larger ones too, eventually I want one for the opposite side of the trailer I think. It was in my original design anyway.

It is finished for now, ready for our trip other than labeling the switches which I will do tomorrow.

Foam on the uprights @ camp to keep grease at bay.

Lift Mech for now

Battery box, there is a float/5amp charger mounted on the front wall of the box that you cannot see in the pic.

Rear reverse/spot lamps mounted. They also can be turned on using one of the toggle switches on the box when unhooked from the truck.

Extinguisher mounted

Hand brake moved

New linkage made, just need to go buy a 5/16 nut. I had a die, but no nut.

Light test

Edit:

Switches that are hooked up are labeled. I have plans for the other two eventually, the flash kind of washed out the words though.

Generator mounted and locked up, keep the honest guy honest anyway.

My dad was being a smart ass and said it was missing something, so I set up the last two switches just for him

I don't know if I will get the proper Flux Dispersal though between the trailer and H3, especially without the stainless steel exterior.

Love the Flux Capacitor. Is that what the white box is on the side?

It looks freaking great. I've been toying with the idea of selling my teardrop for a while now, and now I'm thinking about building my 416. lol It just looks so cool. The whole reason why I want to sell my teardrop though is because I want to be able to stand up inside, which this wouldn't solve. I have some tent shelters for the side of my tear as well, but find I don't set them up for those over night stops that I usually do.

Anyway, take it out and post some photos of your actually using it.

That's the point. I have tents / vestibules / annex rooms or whatever for my tear too, but often times, I'm exploring the UP and stop someplace for the night and then move along in the morning to do more exploring. Other than some quick camp chairs to sit and relax to enjoy whatever vista we chose for the night, nothing really gets set up as it's too much of a pain for the very limited use. Besides that, if you're in the middle of nowhere you can strip naked outside and noone is there to care. lol

I suspect you'll end up with similar use and won't be setting up everything ever night, but you have an awesome set up for longer stays too.

Just got to Fort Wilkins State Park, set up the whole mess and the wife is ecstatic to have a "kitchen" will definitely post pics, this looks awesome fully set up in the campground. I think every single camper asked questions when we took our son to the host site for some snacks. I even had two guys come ask to help me set it up because it was so different lol.

Thats a nice campground. The only bad thing about it is it's so close to High Rock I'd rather pass by it. If you aren't familiar with High Rock, go east on the main road past the camp ground and basically stay straight until you run into Lake Superior. It's a flat open area that forms the point of the pennisula out there. Awesome place and would be great for your trailer!

Either way, glad your enjoying it. I'm assuming it's been on some trails by now. Hows it pulling?

We were mostly scouting this trip as I have not got a portable toilet yet. To my wife that is a MUST.

I went down that road a couple years ago and ran into someone who said there was nothing there and it just looped back around to CH. Based on what you said we went out there and wheeled the H3 all day long LOL. The road was in rough shape, and some places were really narrow. Especially compared to wheeling a flatty. The H3 got compared to an air conditioned tank and one point.

Someone removed the sign to High Rock, so we actually passed it by miles and went to Hore Lake - that was absolutely gorgeous, had a place you could camp, and a awesome sand bottom lake. We eventually found High Rock, and it was beautiful.

Hector just went in and out, in and out... he loved it.

I can sniff them out... these have been in this spot well over 10 years. I first saw them around 2001.

I left my GoPro in time lapse mode during the thunderstorm, the next three shots are the only 3 out of 1000+ that caught anything.

Badass pictures. It looks like you are doing a similar route to what I did a few years ago. The trailer and the tank look great too!

I was just happy to make it home alive... my wife was about to kill me because I was wheeling her truck, and wheeling like I wheel my jeeps. I am pretty sure we jumped it at one point

I love the UP and look forward to exploring it even more as my son gets older. It was a good time to build the trailer as it gives me time to work out the quirks. It had remarkably few. The lift is the only thing I really want to explore what else I could do.
