Here are a few pics of what I have done most recently. bottom slide for the boat-siding and frame bracing for the Astro steering box mounting. Trying to keep it simple, then failed.

I was mentioned to me that the way I did the boatsiding (rigid mount from frame to sil plate) will present a problem with rubber body mounts, and eventually stress and strain on body and/or frame. I guess I over looked that (oops), so we'll see. Slow going for sure, specially with a due date looming over.

I listed some parts in the "parts for sale" section that were intended for this build, but it has turned slightly towards a different goal. Take a look and see if there is something that looks good!

so a bunch of crap was delivered yesterday, link kits, king pin rebuild today, GLO brake brackets for the 14b. Rest of the brakes will come from NAPA. SO things are progressing in the right direction.

Pics to follow after the weekend.

Starting to get pumped for this acceleration of building. I think I have to as I am on a time budget for the mild test and tune at the Jamboree at Drummund Island on June 15th.

Here is some pics of where I am thinking I would like to end up. Rear sits lower than what it will end up at. but the front is kinda what I want. Canted the grill forward. that accomplishes avoiding steering box placement being higher and in the way of the factory position of the grill. Also, if I can make it fir, the winch will be behind the grill with the appropriate cut in it for the fairlead. In the end, a new radiator is in order. It was anyways, but this confirms the size and placement. I wish I hadn't put myself on such a time budget, but that commitment has been concreted.

still here. I have some progress pics, but my phone has decided to take them in a panoramic setting, and they are all out of proportion. Links are being made, coil-overs are in transit, lots of assembly and a few more things to fab, but nothing earth shattering. I am to the narrowing of the frame in the rear so there is room for the coil-overs. Lots of ways to do it that yield results that all look fairly similar.
