1st cut hay

I have 100 bales of grass/alfalfa hay. 50+lb bales $7.00 a bale.

price sounds a little high to me. when i got 35 round bales for less then $25 a bale

anyone have access to the northern michigan livestock association's sale price sheets from previous weeks? I'm curious to see what prices are right now...

It all depends on what the content of your hay is and what cutting it is . And the price will reflect that. Alfalfa is going for $ 10 a bale and grass is going for $7 to $10 a bale.

Quality has a allot to do with price as well. Cow hay tends to be allot cheaper. and horses cant eat it !

only if your rich it's all grass. we have cows an the people next stroe have nice horses an they eat the same hay with no problems i guss it all in what you want to feed them.
