I have not had any driveline failures yet, but I don't beat on it either. I'm sure the Detroit locked Dana 35 could be easily broken. I wheel it with good throttle control. Mud and trails basically. The clutch is stock as far as I know with 160k on it. It is chattering when it gets warm though. A clutch will be done soon.probably a stock replacement. I have a pre filter for the k&n and it has been doused pretty good without any problems. I have not changed anything with the disconnect in the front axle. It still works fine. If I remember correctly there is a check valve installed from the factory on the line.

My ax15 started making some evil bearing noise in 5th, and the clutch has been chattering for a year or more so I swapped the Trans. I wad going to convert to an AW4, but I couldn't pass up a brand new free nvg3550 from a good friend, so I did the swap.
I ended up having to fabricate a bracket to hold the transfer case shifter, and also moving the console back a bit, along with cutting the floor/modifying the shifter boot because the 3550 shifter sits back a little further. I also needed to get an external slave bellhousing and a new clutch master/line/slave assembly. O'reiley had them for $120. That's about $100 cheaper than everyone else.

I think around $600 including the methanol kit. I have not had any engine problems at all yet. The wide band is necessary for that. Having to run premium fuel does kinda bite though.

I picked up some tube fenders from Roger on Friday. Nicer than the ones I had.

I put the MTR's on my ZJ and went with some JK Rubicon wheels and 315/70/17 BFG At's. I'm not sure I like the look. I think it looks like a matchbox car. It drives a lot smoother and quieter though.
