Default cherokee d30 &ch 8.25 fluid

Hello i have a 97 dodge ram 2500 that requires friction modifier to be added to the fluid for the axle gears, so does my 98 jeep cherokee require friction modifier too?

The friction modifier is for the clutch packs on a limited slip diff. If your jeep has open carriers then no you won't need it.
