Default URGENT 911 - Duramax Down On Side Of Road

We are down on the side of I70 ~ 10 miles west of Hays Kansas.

Pulling a 36' trailer with 2 jeeps headed to Moab.

Have an 05 Kodiak with a Duramax LLY.

Lost all boost.

We were just starting up a minimal climb when it stopped.

The boots look good.

We are in the process of pulling off the plumbing to see if anything happened inside the turbo.

Is there anything that we should be looking for or double checking?

Any advice on a shop in this area?

Thanks for your help!

check engine light? any codes? if you shut it down, pull battery, give it 30 seconds, and re-plug is it still no boost?

does it have a chip or tuner?

Did it make noise like BANG when boost went up before it drop back to Zero?

Happened to me twice last year with F350 7.3L powerstroke. It sound like gun bang when hit 23 psi boost .

Check boot, clamps, exhaust leak, and no crack intercooler pipes?

All the boots and piping look OK.

No CEL

We don't have a code reader with us.

It has a mild EFI Live tune.

No big bang or bizzarre noises - I thought a boot popped off.

We are limping it down the road @ 30MPH right now.

We are in Oakley Kansas and dead in the water.

Got it into a shop and pulled off the exhaust from the turbo.

The turbo is shot.

Any diesel shops in the area that would be open on Saturday?

Any place we can get a turbo on a Saturday?

Wow, sorry to hear. I've got nothing to offer but here's hoping you get it rolling.
