Just so you know a stock pump is plenty right fuel for that engine to be drivable. No dyno tune required for a stock type engine.

Well I am not sure if that is definitely something that has to be done, but I talked to a few shops that deal with cars that have been modified and they said that since there is more air going in and out that the computer would be a little screwy and recommended a tune and after market fuel pump to support the modifications that have been done. Like I said it does run and runs good just not something that I would drive on the street daily. When you get into the throttle and then let off when there is a load on it the engine RPM drops right down and then it will act like it is going to die. I could not have it timed right, I am not sure. But if you have any pointers that might help me get it running better that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Sam

I've built about nine of these now and like Rob said that stock pump will take that all day. My 93 fox was 466 rwhp an still had a stock pump in it.

Check your timing, those cars can be tempermental. Find your top dead center and advance your timing about 10 degrees an throw a little premium in there an see how she runs. That's an identical setup to one of my old cars minus I had the matching trick flow aluminum heads an I was running between 10-12 degrees advanced and she ran like a dream no dyno tunes needed.

How big of a MAF are you running 70mm??

I am sorry I haven't been on here lately, I will try and mess with the timing and see what I can do as far as that goes. I really appreciate all the help. And the car is still up for sale I have a couple people coming this weekend to look at it but it is still available.

Although it would be nice having a motor home I just don't have any use for one right now, thanks for the offer though.
