horseback2006.....I also met you about 5 years ago in Stevensville at the 4given/Misfits Take it To the Limit event. I'm sure you where there with dad and mom as I remember them having the kids around. We stood around your dad's white dually and talked about it.

Its so sad at what happened to your father, I just hope we can all help educate people on proper recovery in the future.

He didn't have a white dually, it was black. But I think that I remember that.

horseback2006 ...I don't know you or your dad...but I do remember this thread..

I can only say I have a daughter who I treasure dearly, and wheel with often...
if she has your strength and fond memories when I have passed then I will be happy for eternity.

I have also taken a much more pro-active approach to safe recovery. Even under ideal circumstances, bad things can happen to good people.

Yea. It is good that people approach things with caution and go a safer way.

Hello.

My name is Björn & I was a lifeguard with Jodi & John in the very early 90's. Jodi was great to work with and stand-up, wonderful person at every turn. You are blessed to have her.

I knew Jon pretty well. We worked together, closely. He was always sincere, warm, friendly, smart, & extremely dependable. I'm 100% certain that if the Marines, education, career, & family didn't uproot me from West Michigan, I would have done everything possible to keep & grow my friendship with both Jon & Jodi.

On a side note - my mom passed away when I was 8. It devastated & destroyed my life. I did not have another parent to take over. Long story short God did not forget me. Put all of your trust in God.

Love & prayers to friends from my past.

Bjorn Olson.
