Someone dumped a BD full suspension MB outside my work place door

Overall this bike is in fair shape. Even has disc brakes.
Grips are trashed as well as a flat tire. I just can't believe someone would steal this bike and just dump it! Obviously the person probably didn't want to push around a bike with a flat tire.
Just too bad every chrome nut and bolt has surface rust.

My question, is there a way to clean up the nuts and bokts without stripping off the chrome?

as strange as it may sound, I've found that wet sanding with aluminum foil works quite well for removing surface rust from chrome. Then finish off with never dull

Not one of you corrected me on lack of morals!

I set the bike aside in the event someone came back for it.
Dood came by and claimed it

I thought you were just being a nice guy and was going to clean his bike up for him, you at least fixed his flat tire didn't you?
