The ONLY explantion I can come up with is that they are giving rayburn one last chance to prove himself so we can cut him without anyone questioning the move.

Doug Fister Pitched like a stud tonight, hope he has finally found his groove. Also they are playing 500 ball who is watching again. It was also nice to see almost everyone have a hit, Berry was the only one that didn't and he made a catch to save a hr that made is lack of hitting less suck

Ok the Tigers have played great lately, but why the fukc is Raburn still starting, or coming in in the 8th with one out, only up by two with men on 1st and 2nd, and he strike out. I just don't understand how he is still playing on a decent professional team.

But Tigers need to trade for decent Starter. Put Smyly in a long middle reliever position, I like him a lot, he is has been pretty good as a starter, but until he can go 6+ most games he needs to be a reliever, and maybe make a few starts if there is an Injury. Would also love to see a decent second baseman picked up. These two changes would help them alot.

Infante and Sanchez for Turner, I like it for a quick fix, but feel like if Turner is gonna be as good as he is suppose to be we may have gave up to much. I am mostly happy, as we got 2 much needed positions covered now, just hate to see Turner go.

I'll agree his first start was obviously horrible, but his last start the other day I thought was pretty good, considering his age and just coming into the bigs.

Not saying he is guaranteed, just showing an example. But for someone that "there is no way we are gonna trade" because they are gonna be awesome, it seems like they let him go for less than I figured they would.

You have to give up talent to get talent.....turner is unproven, we just improved our team today....clearly other teams didn't want our other prospects or we would have most likely given them up instead.

I agree, I guess my biggest complaint is giving up unproven but expected to be good talent for year for 2 players that are free agents at the end of the year. But I understand the thinking, we are in the running, and looking for a few key players to make the playoffs happen. I was never against trading him, just from what they(the tigers) made him out to be, it feels like we didn't get that much.
